Homeopathic Ipecac

Ipecac is said to be of assistance where the main symptoms experienced are persistent queasiness and vomiting as in the case of morning sickness and such disorders of inflammation of the salivary glands. There may also be presence of foul smelling diarrhoea in which a lot of undigested foods are present. There are some other conditions that can be helped by Ipecacuanha and these follow.

Conditions affecting the respiratory system such as coughs, colds, bronchitis, whooping cough, dyspnoea - where there is fluid in the lungs that is the cause of breathlessness, asthma, heart failure that is connected to vomiting.

The condition of epilepsy, that is particularly connected to the left side and is accompanied with nausea and maybe vomiting, is also indicated for this remedy. For females whose periods are heavy and there is a profuse loss of bright red blood and accompanying nausea.

The person who may benefit from this remedy is someone whose symptoms are exacerbated by cold weather, when lying down, and after meals that have pork or veal. There is improvement when the person access fresh air and resting with their eyes closed.
