​The courses offered, and made available by Calm Oasis Holistic Therapy, to students are intended to provide education and information on the covered modality to which they are enrolled.  These courses do not intend to replace personal medical assessment, investigation, diagnosis or treatment from a trained, qualified, licenced health professional. 

​Students are encouraged to read the cancellation and refund policy.

​Students are advised to seek insurance coverage for the duration of their training; Calm Oasis Holistic Therapy does not accept any liability or damages arising due to students not having any or adequate personal insurance cover.  The student retains full personal responsibility and liability for their practice. 

Where students enrol onto Udemy or Skillshare platform they will need to attend in person, class room training for to provide evidence of hands on practice, additional fees are applied and other costs are incurred by the student – there is no approved diploma provided for the online training without fulfilment of in person attendance.

The course training instructor, and the business, of these courses, assumes no responsibility or liability to any person or entity with respect to any loss, damage or injury caused, or alleged to be caused, directly or indirectly, by the information contained in these courses or for problems arising from the student’s negligence. 

Student and insurance

Although you are a student it is suggested that you obtain insurance cover to protect you throughout your course of study.  Calm Oasis Holistic Therapy has created the British Holistic Therapy Organisation to provide affordable membership for students to obtain as they work through their chosen course.  When you become a member of the BHTO you will be sent information about our partner insurance company that you will need for your application for insuarnce.  

​​Students are urged to read carefully additional resource materials, watch and listen to the recorded materials contained in the courses and ask relevant questions; requests to have modules removed from a course, or how to teach courses is not in the remit of the instructions of the courses however separate training is available.

Should a student be enrolled onto a professional course of study with a recognised diploma attached to it then students must complete all the coursework, client case studies and a final exam.   A polite note to students – “copy and paste” is noticeable in coursework please avoid plagiarism and the embarrassment of this matter.

​Students are also encouraged to consult with a qualified professional in the field of study they are enrolled and to receive a therapy session as this will provide a client experience and perspective which is valuable to your learning goals.
